[Websg Meetup] Invitation to preview and blog about the revamped Public Library Services website

Hi all,

I'd like to invite you to a "citizen reporter" briefing session, for a
preview of the revamped Public Library Service website.

In truth, I've got some reservations asking you experts to the session, 'cos
I'm not sure it the revamped site passes your Web Standards criteria. But
for better or for worse, it'll be made public anyway, so I thought some of
you might want to ask questions and get straight answers from us (I promise
we will give you straight answers, heh).

The revamped site includes things like a New Arrivals feature, and a
"Flickr-like" feature. Maybe it's not fantastically "Web 2.0." but
definitely something new. Anyway there are also existing services which not
may are aware, e.g. SMS or email reminders.

We hope those who have blogs can blog share the information with others.
Think "community service", to help educate other users.

You are free to say what they want about the revamped site -- the good, the
bad, the ugly. Whatever comments people leave comments on your blog (or
those who link to your blogs), we'll take it as feedback. : )

I hope this email can interest you to attend the briefing. I'll save other
details at the briefing (I promise the briefing to be... brief).
