Hi guys,

I suppose by now whoever wants to sign up for the mailing list has already
done so.

Based on those who commented on websg.org, we're looking at about 20 people
meeting up. I tried getting us a room at the National Library, but it has
already been booked. My second inclination is to book the Meeting Room at
Geylang East Library as it can accomodate 30 people and has an overhead
projector. If you guys have any other ideas please feel free to suggest
them.

Regarding what we'll do that day. I am preparing a short presentation on
what web standards are and why we're working hard to advocate its use. I
know that we have a few web standards luminaries in our midst, but I figure
we could do an introduction to web standards on our first meetup and go from
there.

If you have something you'd like to present; whether it's a project you're
working on, your experiences trying to "sell" web standards to clients,
bosses etc, please feel free to email me. I'll add you into the programme
which we'll solidify by early January.

Till then.

Lucian
