The first Singapore Web Standards Group meetup friggin’ rocked. I did my little bitty song and dance about what web standards were and why we all need them. Coleman gave a presentation on web accessibility and Nick Pan rounded off with the use of list item menus for U21 Global. Thanks for the great presentations, guys!

Special thanks to Raffles Girls’ School for use of the facilities as well as the drinks and cake.

It was exhilarating having so much talent and ideas in one room. If you weren’t here this time, don’t miss our next meetup.

Stay tuned. Join our meetup mailing list.

Thanks for organising this. Oh, you might want to say it’s “Ivan L” as opposed to “Ivan C” (me) ‘cos there were two Ivans at the meet-up :)

Although I didn’t speak to most of you, it was nice to be there. Looking forward to the second meetup.

Woot it is!

Thanks a ton for organizing this.

Very well done meetup Lucian. Great to finally meet up with the original guys after all this while! I’m definitely looking forward for the next one.

The photos look great, argh…I missed to take mine. :D

It was a great meeting, great meeting you guys.

Sorry I couldn’t make it… Would have loved to see Coleman’s accessibility video from what I read of it from Vanessa’s account.

Anyone took any videos? Screencasts?

Chu Yeow, drop me an email - I can send you the video.

What’s next? ;-)

missed this but looking forward to the next one! :)
